Who’s your targeting market?  Have you picked the name of your business and website yet?

Domains names should be as short as sensibly possible, and if a hyphen is necessary, no more than one. 
YES,  it does matter if it is .com, .net or .org.
NO,  .co is not short for .com
It is short for the country of Columbia, just as .ca is Canada, .eu is for the European Union.
